I don't think it would be taken out...it has a nice "classic" California feel to it...

ive always thought pacific wharf has the potential to be DCA's new orleans square: not all too large and yet highly themed (they could even add a few more walkways/buildings/shops in the back of the wharf area to make it feel like you're exploring alleys and quaint streets, just like NOS)

all that is needed to complete this transition are the attractions: 1-2 e-tickets that become iconic classics for the park, like HM and POTC are in DL.

no ideas as to what these attractions may be at the moment, im just sayin the potentials there

I hope Pacific Wharf isn't taken out. While I don't LIKE the tortilla factories and breadmaking machines... what I find interesting is the walkway from Sunshine Plaza to Paradise Pier, around the Golden Wine Vineyard and Bug's Land area... you see it's one of the most detailed areas besides Hollywood Pictures Backlot and Paradise Pier. It looks like a real harbor, with wood decks, beach-house styled buildings, and even the record catch of the day (I always take pictures of it). And the signs are schools of fish!

Too bad this place doesn't have any attractions. It's one of the most scenic areas in the park. I'm not sure what CarLand would look like, but hopefully, it'll be DCA worthy (talking about the future, not the present).

I can't see it going anywhere. That area is one of the better-themed ones in the park. I recall my first trip to DCA after a long vacation to North Cal, seeing the area of the park and thinking "Wow! It looks just like Montery's Cannery Row!"
More of DCA should have that affect, and let's hope the overlay will do just that.

On another note, if Carsland's location is in fact 'around' A Bug's Land and into the Timon lot, then hopefully that will add to the flow of the park from PP to HPB. It's always such a pain to walk completely around instead of being able to cut through those lands.

Does anybody even know if this will be a large scale attraction? Fast ride? Slow Ride?

I don't think Pacific Wharf will be affected by the new area. Remember, Carland will not consume the entire parking lot. They will still have room for more things, and I suspect Carland will only extend into the part adjacent to Bugsland and TOT, rather than adjacent to Pacific Wharf and Paradise Pier.

We all know that Carland has been confirmed for our evergrowing DCA, but what we don't know is when it will take place. It has been said that it will take up the Bountiful Valley Farm and a huge chunk of the Timon Parking Lot. Anybody think that Pacific Wharf will go as well, as it is, it doesnt really fit into the whole 20th Century California/Pixar feel. They might as well just build more of the land right there, it is called Carland anyway so maybe it will have more than one ride and they can build whatever additions where Pacific Wharf currently is.
