09.29.07 DL HMH and other random night photos

Howdy.

I was in SoCal briefly last week and I headed to DL as soon as I landed Saturday night. I was amazed at the size of the crowds, considering it was a Saturday night in September.

Anyway, here are some pictures I took.

I intended to take more pictures of Fantasmic from a decent viewing location, but the crowds made me change my mind. I did watch a little of the show and I thought the next two pix of the dragon are kinda cool.

I guess I need to clean my lens next time. Either that or some ghosts were loose.

This last pic was taken without a tripod. I will go back and see if I can do better.

I concur, these night shots are simply stunning! I LOVE how you captured the texture of the pumpkins in the hub. And despite your surprise of the largish crowds it certainly doesn't show in your shots; you put exposure time to good use (not to mention patience). Great job!

Beautiful shots! I love Disneyland at night and am always trying to take night time pictures, but with my cheapy little camera, I'm lucky if I get a few good shots.

That first shot in your second post is one I've been wanting to get for a while, but I've never had a tripod with me in the park. ROA is gorgeous after the rides close and everyone else shuffles to Main Street for some early morning shopping. The reflections and the darkness and the pristine serenity of it are amazing. You've done a fantastic job with this shot and all the others.
