  • Interactive Map of Disneyland Missing Subs

I realize Disney can be slow to update things on their site, but I was shocked today when I was in the interactive map at Disneyland.com to see that there are no subs in the lagoon, the old motorboat area still appears to be full of water, and there is no attraction listing for FNSV. Pirates Lair is listed and it only opened what 3 weeks before the subs, and with much less fanfair.

Why hasn't Disney taken the time to update this marketing tool with the biggest ride to open in some time? It's not like they havent had almost 4 months to do so?

Disney's web presence is abysmal. They update rarely, have conflicting information - if you can even find what you are looking for, and the pages take DAYS to load. You think they could buy another server or two and at hire least one web monkey to keep things current.

Go look through their map of DCA and see how many unupdated things you can spot

Good thing you aren't a foriegn visitor.

International Language Park Maps that are being distrubited at Disneyland to guests from other countries still don't have the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage or Pirate's Lair listed, and the Disney Gallery is apparently still an attraction.

And this isn't even Disney Online's slow-to-update reputation here - this is printed park maps that park guests can pick up at City Hall. Sad.

I hate the web design of Disneyland's site almost as much as I love Disneyland. Even before I got into web design, I knew their site was baaaaaaad...
