Disney's California Adventure is fake. Plain and simply. The park is fake and knows it is fake. Disney fans want to experience the hyperreal, a strong blur between real and fake.
I don't like DCA because it's mediocre. It doesn't offer the same quality as Disneyland does. Its attractions are mostly off-the-shelf and painfully unoriginal. And I find a lot of the park to be creatively empty and visually unappealing.
Photos, news, and commentary every week from Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom!
Ladies and gentlemen, we've already had one thread moved to the litterbox because of people who seem to think this is there personal playground and they can just run over someones thread and detrail it for the fun of it.
This is NOT going to happen again! We are suspose to be adults in here, and if there are people who try to once again purposely try to detrail this thread with useless nonsense there will be consequences.
If you do not have anything to contribute to this thread in a legitimate manner DO NOT post here.
I totally understand thanks- and Everyone- When my old thread went to the Litter Box If it was my fault I'm very very sorry......I just wanted an answer....

It wasn't your fault at all Skittles. Hakuna Matata. I won't throw stones, I've litterboxed a few threads myself.
I'm profoundly surprised anyone would even have to ask that question.
To like DCA is akin to liking your neighborhood mall.
Disneyland was created with the clear intent to entertain and inspire and transport.
DCA was made to make money and to do it as cheaply and cynically as possible. It's founder, a certain Michael Eisner, didn't really care about people. He figured they'd blindly fall in line with the park if it had "Disney" somewhere in the title.
And he knew a sucker was born every minute.
To ask the question, "Why does everyone not like DCA" proves that a least one minute has gone by.
If you do not understand why DCA is such a colossal creative failure then I just feel so deeply sorry for you. You need a hug.

That's a pretty good assessment, Mr. Banks. And welcome to Micechat!
