Is it true that Indiana Jones and TSI are closed for a long time? (RUMOR)

Can anyone confirm that as of today Indiana Jones and Tom Sawyer Island are both down for a sudden long-term refurb? Like for weeks or months?

So bummed as I was looking forward to seeing the new Island in two weeks, and looking forward to Indiana Jones, too, for that matter.

Yes Indiana Jones is closed. Not sure when it will reopen.

Weird it doesn't say anything about it at Disneyland.com. I'm bummed too! We are going tomorrow and Sunday.

Roll Call said IJA was "closed till further notice" for maintnence. Whatever that means, I'll ask around.

Anybody else have info?

Not Indiana Jones! It's bad enough I gotta miss Alice in Wonderland and It's a Small World! Hopefully it'll be running in two weeks when we get there.

Supposedly had a jeep crash into a wall. Jumped the track or derailed or some such. How true that is, I don't know, but I've heard it from a few places (non-interweb) independently.

PLoTSI was closed during the week this week, and will be next week as well. That's it for the island though.

It closed on Sunday around 3 or 4 and were telling people that the attraction was done for the rest of the day. I'm assuming it was then that this happened? Either way hopefully they'll go through the refurb now.

It closed for a couple a days in September.

Dang, i hope it's up and running soon. I'll be there on the 22nd, for the "after the wedding" party of my friend who is getting married the previous day. His favorite things are Indy and Pirates, if both are down, him and his bride will be bummed!

Indy is down for a bit of refurbishment. They're making some improvements to the track and the Jeeps themselves.

I would think that if it had jumped the track (which I don't think can happen), we would have heard about it before today!

There was a small issue with one of the jeeps at indy, nothing serious, but it does need immediate attention thus the sudden refurb. TSI needs a bit of a touch up too. There is no real time table for the 2 sudden refurbs just as of yet...

From what I understand they are just touching up the Jeeps on IJ, nothing serious.

Alot of people are saying just a quick touch up? But why would they just shut down in the middle of the day for some quick touch ups?

If it was just 'improvements' - why would the downtime not be announced previously? Improvements aren't done on a whim...

This screams 'previously undiscovered issue' that needs to be addressed before they want to run the attraction IMO.

The island is open it was only closed mon-thurs to re do all the walkways that had 50 years of layers of dirt on it.
