  • Add a CM thread

We have been having a lot of fun in the “add a character” thread”. Now, taking after Kennygman77’s wonderful thread I think we should see how many CM costumes we can come up with. To make the thread fun for as many Micechatters as possible I have a few suggested guidelines.

    Rules for posting:
    1. One photo per post
    2. You can only post the same CM role if it is in a different costume. For example Tokyo Disneyland POTC CM vs. Disneyland POTC CM.
    3. You can only post a photo again after someone else has posted a photo.
    4. For this thread a CM is someone who works in a store, on an attraction, in a restaurant, at the ticket booth and so on. Do not include pictures of Characters, people in a show, band or parade.
    5. Please use only your own photos. Do not repost pictures from other sites or other Micechat or Miceage users. Let them post their own photos.

Your photo can come from any DisneyTheme Park experience, including resort Hotels. Let's have some fun and see how many different CM costume variations we can come up with!

I'll start the fun with a Disneyland Railroad Engineer. This was the engineer who I did my tender ride with. His name is Rudy, great guy who made the ride very memorable and fun. I will never forget that experience.

PS we have someone who has volunteered to keep the official list. Its butterflylark.

This should be interesting. I would request one minor amendment to the stated rules. IF you have the same location costume throughout several time periods (meaning several different costumes of the same location separated by the time they were used) I would hope whomever posts it would tastefully crop and merge all costumes into one photo so that we may all do a comparison/contrast of the various costume styles. If possible listing the time period in text in the photo i.e. 60's 70's 80's... Someone should contact Davelandweb.... he has a TON of CM's at various locations.

We would hand a Guest a map, or scrap of paper or something (clean) and ask them to throw it away. When the Guest tried to toss it, the can would toss it back out! Freaked out a lot of people. WDI liked it and Management told us to stop... suddenly TL has this modern can rolling around.

Depends on when it was introduced to WDW, if it was post early 90's (earliest I specifically remember that prank, but it is possible it was earlier then that I would have to verify with some of the older crew to try and get a date) then it was taken. WDI works in a similar fashion to the Skips... we feed each other, and our counterparts in other parks. I used to have friends on the Florida crew! and WDI had similar contacts. Sorry to derail the thread. back to pic posting, I love picture

                                    New tour guide costume.

We're silly. Although we probably shouldn't be impersonating High School Musical actresses in internet photos. ...ooh, too soon?

But I have an question - why are castmembers wearing parade outfits not considered a "uniform" (even if it's what they wear to work at Disneyland or DCA daily)???

if posting a picture of three CM's is not allowed then I have shamed myself. Also I could not resit posting this despite the fact that the CM's are technically backstage. BTW that guy in the middle is cute.
