  • finding love at disneyland

Everyone is always telling me that maybe going to disneyland often is a good thing because I might find a date while I'm there. My question is.... is that possible to do? Has anyone ever fell in love with someone else on a trip to disneyland? If so how did it happen? That would be my year of a million dreams come true. Find love at disneyland. Has anyone ever found love on micechat?

Yes, quite a few individuals have found significant others at Disneyland and other Disney parks as well. :cwink: Often it's through organized meetings like the weekly MiceChat meets or the single rider meets - but still the meeting happen! So never say never!

I would say most meetings occure between people that are lookin for love, not so much people at mice chat gaterings, how many people show up, and how many are single, and out of that, how many want you? Kind of rare, your better off just lookin for love.

I met my girlfriend of two years at Bats Day (which happens at DL on the second to last Sunday of August each year). Chances are we'll end up getting married eventually.

In other words, you've got a better chance if you go to functions at the park where strangers get together, like Bats Day or Micechat meets or whatever.

When I was seventeen I met this crazy girl in line for Indiana Jones. She just kept talking to me then we rode together (I sort of ditched my family) then we rode the Haunted Mansion and we started to make out.

Then she tried to "go further" and I stopped her... then she started to cry and begged me to forgive her. I tried to say something but then she said something about not loving herself very much and she always tries to substitute that with what she can get from guys. I told her that she was pretty and she started crying again....

So... if you want to find something like that You can.

Yeah. Back when I was a teenager we called the Haunted Mansion the Mack Shack. Maybe kids today still call it that. There was a lot of anonymous making out on Friday nights.

For young people, the park probably still provides a great opportunity for 'hooking up.' But I'm practically married and too damn old.

Finding love at Disneyland really became less common after they took out ATIS.

When I was in High School my first date with a girl was at Disneyland. That lasted for a 3 years but then she turned psycho!!!

                    They always turn psycho. )

I am sure it had nothing to do with me!!!
Check out My Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 rides... I'm always working on another one... I hope they make you want to go to Disneyland.

I had a great date there when I went there with my band and choir when I was a senior in high school . Instead of going on rides at night, the guy from my school and I just danced all night wherever we could find bands playing. And we became boyfriend and girlfriend after that. It only lasted 6 months because we both went off to college and I'm married to my college sweetheart now.

But a few months ago , I witnessed two Micechatters who had just met falling in love!

So yes, it's possible to find love at DL!

I actually met my girlfriend at Disneyland.

Unfortunately she may be moving to the east coast and... yeah.

That would be so romantic to fall in love at Disneyland!

I don't know anyone who fell in love at Disneyland, though I think it helped them along when they visited. They did however get engaged in front of the castle.... I love them and think it's wonderful but I am jealous at the same time....

At least I can admit it

I am sure it happens all the time, but i wouldnt count on it, most people meet there other half through friends and family.
