Hopefully a reliable source doesn't post it in the thread below so it won't get missed:

Re: Where is the DCA concept Art?
There is not a lot of it out there. All I have seen is the little Mermaid which has a overhead shoot of the "Kiss the Girl" scene, The Carthay Circle Theater, and the same old "Radiator Springs Racers" art.
This is a exciting day for Disney!Last edited by Jerm; 10-17-2007, 09:33 AM.Kungaloosh!

Re: Where is the DCA concept Art?
Yeah, the actual words "DCA ANNOUNCEMENT NOT HAPPENING" doesn't impress me as "I hope Al is right". In fact, it seems the opposite. More importantly, you don't seem to get that it was completely wrong. As long as it seems "sensational " to you, untruths are okay, right?

I am liking the Carthay Circle or Hub concept art."If you build it right, they will come." - Bob Iger

"I don't care about critics. Critics take themselves too seriously. They think the only way to be noticed and to be the smart guy is to pick and find fault with things. It's the public I'm making pictures for." - Walt Disney

There are only 2 pieces of art up now.....not sure if more is coming. Carthay Circle looks nice.WALT'S DISNEYLAND DEDICATION SPEECH! - To all who come to this happy place, welcome! Re: Where is the DCA concept Art?
The Carthay Circle art is exciting. Both Snow White and Fantasia premiered there... now a drab office building on Wilshire.
I guess Disney/MGM had already reproduced the Carthay facade in some form:
Here's the real thing:
I'd love to see them reproduce the Hyperion Studio building and the Brown Derby Hat too.“I love the nostalgic myself. I hope we never lose some of the things of the past.” -- Walt Disney
