Anyone seen the new lighting test on the new IASW at Hong Kong Disneyland? You think Disneyland should utilize this especially with the massive refurb of IASW coming up?

And the idea just popped in my head; They will probably use this on the Sun Wheel's new LED light package.

I think Disney will probably install LED lighting which can change color fairly easily and be low-maintenance. The Christmas bulbs they attach to the facade each year have done loads of damage. But I don't think Disney will use the various colors except for Christmas; it would be too garish against the white-and-gold theme of our Small World, while HK is multi-colored (if I recall correctly).

I agree that too many changing colors would be too much, especially as IASW is pretty traditional... I also hope that they don't change too much about it, going by the quote "You can't fix something that isn't broken". I like small world the way it is, and I think that if they try to tech it up too much it will take away from it.

Yes, to much moderniaztion for a classic can take away from it...but using it for the sun wheel...thats not a bad idea

LEDs improved the waterfalls @ the Disneyland Hotel.
