So today I was at disneyland and I was waiting for Mark Twain to unload when I noticed a man gave a castmember a camera. At first I thought he was asking for a pic. but he wondered off and a few moments later a lady came looking for a lost camera. I thought that was really cool of the guy to return it like that. My question is, has anyone ever had to return lost items before? If it was me I would return lost items just because simply.... it's wrong to not only steal, but to keep something thats not yours

Re: finding and returning lost items
We just found a person's credit card and driver's liscence in NOS. We turned it into lost and found. I have lost sunglasses and a camera lens cap. The folks in lost and found pulled out large bins of these items and let me rummage through. I found the lens cap, but I don't know if the wayfarers I picked up were actually mine or not, but it was an even trade if they weren't since I hadn't really studied them.

Re: finding and returning lost items
We once found someone's AP on the ground and I also found a purse, looked like it belonged to a little girl, in a stall in one of the restrooms, we turned both in to a CM for lost and found.
Oh, and last week as we were getting off the train I overheard someone with a stuffed snake in their hands telling a CM "Someone left a snake on the train". This struck me as very funny and I couldn't help but say "Snakes on a train..snakes on a train. I've had it with these ....snakes on a train."

Re: finding and returning lost items
We have handed in several lost items while at the park. At least 4 APs, an earring, a wallet, hats. That's all I can think of at the moment."This would be a great place if we could only get rid of all these people." WD
"Women are the best judges of anything we turn out. Their taste is very important. They are the theatergoers, they are the ones who drag the men in. If the women like it, to heck with the men." WD
Individuality is a great thing....as long as we think alike.

Re: finding and returning lost items
When my partner and I were rounding the bend to go into Splash Mountain I glanced down and saw a wallet laying on the ground. I picked it up and there was well over $200 in there. Anyway, I turned it in to the little hat store or whatever next to the FastPass machines.

Re: finding and returning lost items
My cell phone was returned by mail in two days from Disney after it fell out of my pocket on ToT!!! I asked the CM at lost and found what the strangest thing turned in to them at at DLR; she said someone had once lost their glass eye! I'm not sure which would be stranger; filling out the form for the return of the eye, or actually finding the eye itself!Hello everyone!

Re: finding and returning lost items
When I went in August..it was really strange everytime I got off a ride I would find headbands...I collected like four at the end of the day. Of course, I turned them into the Lost and Found, because it is kind of hard to ask a bunch of rushed people if they lost their headbands.

Re: finding and returning lost items
Haven't found anything but watter bottles that were left behind on a ride. Heh.
I once saw a little girl asleep on a stroller, and her sandal slipped off. I walked by it and waited to see if the mother would notice, but she didn't turn around so I grabbed it and dashed a good 100 feet to give it back to her.
