  • CMs...can you help me?

I have a question for the CMs. I'd really appreciate your help. I have a family member that is now working at DL. I know this person gets a certain amount of free passes for friends and family in to the park(s). Here is my question. What is the discount for CMs on tickets when the CM can't or doesn't want to let a family member use a free ticket? There is a family member that is being invited to go see this person and they live on a fixed income. I am trying to figure out what this trip will cost this person...to see if they can afford it. I'd appreciate any help you can give me. I sure hope that all made sense.

Well CMs get 16 sign ins a year. Since Cast Members can get in for free, dont think discounts are available.

Thank you. I was afraid of that.

Actually CMs could buy a park hopper with a 20 dollar discount. That means $71 for a park hopper - just show your ID at the vacation planner window.

Can the CMs get multi day discount passes?

Most likely it will also be $20 off the original price. For some reason it's a fixed discount instead of a percentage, as when I bought my sister a deluxe AP it was still only $20 off.

Thank you so much for the info. I truly appreciate it. I don't think that will be enough to help this family member be able to afford this trip.

Last I checked, tickets were cheaper for students at the local colleges. My ex-g/f is a CM and used to get me tickets for the $20 discount until I figured out they were cheaper at UCI.

Thank you for the info. This CM is also a student at a local college. LOL, I doubt DL would let this family member use a CM discount and college discount combined? Yeah, I thought not. Bummer!

                    Disney 1-Day (no expiration}

                    Adult $59.00
                    Child $50.00 (ages 3-9)

Disney 1-Day Park Hopper (no expiration)

                    Adult $66.00
                    Child $56.00 (ages 3-9)

These are the prices from the Team Center. The $20 discount is just for passes. I'm not sure about multi-day.

Thank you. I take it you mean $20.00 for the AP discount? I will pass the one day numbers on to the family member. I don't have a clue as to how many days this person would need, but I do know they would need more then one day. So for sure a multi day park hopper would be needed.

                      I appreciate everyones' help!

                        Re: CMs...can you help me?

I just talked to the TEAM Center, and they don't offer discounts on multi-day park hoppers, only on the 1-day park hopper and the 1-day, 1-park tickets.

Just in case it helps, let me post the prices for tickets that are sold at the Student Union here at Cal State Fullerton. It's only 5 miles from the park, and you can easily make a stop here if you're heading down to the DLR from LA. As far as I know, they don't check for student id cards.

                        1-Day, 1-Park
                        $60.00 - Adult (Normally $66.00)
                        $52.00 - 3-9 yrs. (Normally $56.00)

                        1-Day Park Hopper
                        $67.00 - Adult (Normally $91.00)
