Rockr's Photo Update: 10/19- Halloween, Autopia 101, and Characters

Hello, people. Got back from Disneyland, and I'm just doing a photo update of what is happening around both parks.

First, it's really starting to look like Halloween right now.







Next, by the Ranch Del Zocalo Restaruant, there were Halloween Decorations everywhere!











and here is something I've never seen on my visits to Disneyland:
Mariachis.

Well, anyway, here is the rest.

Next up is attractions.

First, Star Tours was only 5 minutes, so I decided to jump aboard!





While going into Fantasyland, Alice in Wonderland was shut down, so I decided to take a picture of it.



In Autopia, there was a 101. It turns out that one of the cars had stalled just before pulling up. Here is a pic:



This is not the best pic, but some cast members were checking the back engine for any problems.



Over at DCA, the Midway Mania is coming along really nice.



Now here is the third part: characters!



Now this is the first group photo I had in which the Penguin was in it! This was one I had actually wanted! When, I went up for the photo, Mary responded "It's nice to see you, Alex." Just then, I shook the Penguin's hand, and then he kissed it, and laughed. We took this photo. As I left, she responded "Nice to have seen you, Alex." And Bert responded "Have a good day, Alex."

Alice near the Coke Stand. When I asked where Mad Hatter was, she responded "He went to a tea party. He invited everyone except one person" She meant herself. Before she left, I told her that if she wanted to take a fun lesson, take History of Rock and Roll. She thought about that, and said "I don't know if I'm good at History because there aren't any pictures." I told her you don't need pictures to like the History of Rock and Roll. She responded "I'll try."

Did u get the name of the Peguin Alex. It must have been a girl Peguin. And as always great pictures. Next Sat 27th I'm hitting to Disneyland so I will be showing new photos then and eatting at Goofy's Kitchen for my very first time with some friends at 6pm. I hope I get to meet Belle in blue and Daisy there. That is kind of the only reason I want to go to Goofy's.

Excellent pictures! I especially like the one where the spirit of the jack-o-lantern is leaving his body. Did you use some kind of special equipment? Even Frogberto hasn't come up with one like that! :thumbup:

Not to be picky or anything Alex, but the "Halloween Stuff" you reffered to in Zocalo Park, is actually for Dia de Los Muertos, not halloween. The celebration itself is after halloween, but I suppose Disney thought it would fit nicely in the month of October. Which it does. Also the Mariachis, are from the Pacific Wharf Area in DCA.
