I'm still in a conflict with The Little Mermaid's ride location. From there I had other ideas.
Put TLM in the backstage area behind CA Screamin's west helix where Maliboomer is now (I know there's a backstage structure here, but I think that could be moved elsewhere). Facade, entry, & exit in the helix with the queue descending underground to go under the coaster tracks into the show buliding and giving the effect you're walking under the sea. I'd prefer the omnimover version if it would mean an overtrack flying carpet ride for "The Three Caballeros" in a desert/Mexican/Spanish setting.
Perhaps Jumpin Jellyfish can be inbetween TLM entry & exit and across the walkway have a double-decker King Triton Carousel.
The Golden Dreams Theater, Route 66, San Francisco alley, Pacific Wharf, and the area where the Cars E-ticket is proposed... land used for Discovery Bay. The new parade route could remain, meaning west of the parade route is Discovery Bay and east of it (near Bugs land & TOT) is "Cars Land"/ desert themed area.
Now for the new E-ticket for Paradise Pier... located where Pizza Oom Mow Mow is now and the backstage area behind it. A "Shoot the Chutes" themed ride but with the modern water coaster technology. I haven't thought of any good theme ideas yet, maybe readers have one. So far I'm stuck with nautical/marine myths & legends like the Kraken (trying to stay away from Atlantis like in Sea World).

The huge backstage structure for this indoor section of the ride would be themed to the Hotel del Coronado (http://images.google.com/images?svnu...ronado&spell=1). OR, the walls from the outside could look like Hotel del Coronado, but from in the ride, it has an outdoor theme. The flume drop would go under the walkway/parade route and into the lagoon. But the flume is separate from the lagoon water (like Splash Mountain is to Rivers of America). The outer rim is themed like a rock bank and the inner rim is themed as a sand bar. After the splash down in the lagoon, boats immediately make a U-turn and return to the show building. Splash down could be between where the current Orange Stinger & Golden Zephyr is. That green beacy patch of land could go out. HOWEVER, I couldn't imagine the water coaster being as large & tall as the water coaster pics & videos I've seen. So it should be condensed enough to be easily managed in the proposed area for DCA.
