  • Disney "Influence" on Your Life

So is there any little thing that you've changed in your life because of Disney?

For me, (even though this isn't completely true) I say that I like Dasani water best because that's the kind that they sell at Disneyland.

Ever since I started wearing a watch daily, it's always been a Disney one.

Even though I keep more modern things out of my Victorian-style room, I still have my pin lanyard hanging in it.

You're wrong, Brer Rabbit, why would I want to be home when I can be at Disneyland?!?

My personality actually changed and i sorta opened up more because of Disneyland. In a weird way i guess. Just wanted to say Thanks to Abominable Snowman and Hilsbro for that! Another thing is that I MUST listen to Disneyland Ride-through songs when i drive

I now find industrial parks, warehouses, sound stages, flat gravel rooftops with HVAC units and parapets, caged ladders, wedgwood green walls, chilller plants, and eucalyptus trees to be extraordinarily cool.

      Not joking. Disneyland's fault.

It has changed my life so much I don't know where to start. A life long love for a mouse and rabbit. An appreciation for detail. Black Light stuff. A place to go to "get away from it all". Meeting people with an appreciation and love as strong as mine, and becoming friends. See animation that is just more incredible than anyone else can do. I just love Disney and especially Disneyland. It's my "Laughing Place" and my "Neverland" all rolled into one.

            Ha, ha, that's cool.
Heh, definitely not something I expected to happen. People get confused when I drive by a warehouse complex and giggle, "Ooh, Disneyland!"

I am not sure if you mean an influence from working in the park or from visiting the park. I will say that it has had an impact both positive and negative on me. On the positive side it brought me out of my shell and I made a lot of close friends that I still maintain even though I no longer work there. On a negative note I don't have a high opinion of the American Public.

Are we talking about outside the realm of the influence it's had on my bank account? Can someone say empty? LOL

                  1) I compare every fireworks show I see to Remember and Believe.
                  2) There is more Disney artwork in my house than anything else hanging on the walls.
                  3) Disneyland has taught me the powerful draw of having a passion.
4)I hate Six Flags and Knotts
5)I landscape with a heavy influence from that of Disneyland. From the arrangement of my annuals to my holiday decorations in and out, they all mirror that influence of Disneyland.

I think I now have more friends in Southern California than I do in here in Northern California. Planning out our meeting times has become a regular part of every trip and I love it.

I have a better car now because my old one was too rickety to trust over the Grapevine.

Disneyland has definately added sooo much "magic" to my life. Ever since I went there, I havn't been as grumpy, or sad, and I don't let people get to me like I used to. I took my friend with me once, and since then we have been the best of friends!!!

I totally agree! Someone could make one and say, "It's the same brand used at DL" and it STILL wouldn't be the same! ha!

The grand scope of everything Walt accomplished drives home how powerful visualization can be in transforming one's life into anything you can dream.
