The day after Halloween, the pumpkins were removed and the first snow showed up on the Castle. A few of the turrets and some of the mansard roof in the middle had the first batch of snow applied today. I couldn't get a pic cause I was on the clock and there's a rule against cell phones on stage, but did anyone else who went today get pics of the first bits of Castle snow?
It looked very realistic. It's a complete overlay that covers the entire turret, and the color of the tiles and masonry underneath has changed a bit. The blue is a cooler shade of blue, and it looks more crisp and winterlike. Nice details there.
Now lets wait to see what it looks like fully installed, all decorated, and then turn on the computer and start the fiber optic digital show!
Christmas 2007 looks like it's going to be a very memorable Christmas for Disneyland!
