on that day they cram as many people as they can into the park to celebrate. 08 its on a Friday this year, so that should be fun.

None what so ever - they're all partied out from celebrating my birthday on the 2nd.


Actually they do some huge fireworks that night. Very crowded some years.

They do fireworks everynight!!!

What they usually do is run RDCT, then immediately after, have the 4th of July fireworks, nothing big, just an extra 7 minutes longer.

yeah you got the dates right, 4th of July is always on the 4th of July. The 5th is the day after the 4th.

Was thinking of going sometime next year. The $$ exchange is good at the moment,plus compulsory 4 weeks plus stat holidays every year for working new Zealanders.,so plenty time of work for holidays.
