I was at the resort Tuesday 11/6 and saw that they had temp walls up on the 2nd and 3rd levels of the Mickey & Friends structure where it meets the loading area. Does anyone know what they're doing? I was parked in Pinochio so I didn't get a chance to see up there other than the walls.

People can walk faster than the escalator can move, and for whatever reason (lazy Americans... what have you) people tend to get on an escalator and just stand there to let it do all the work. That usually creates bottlenecks. By switching it off, and forcing people to move on their own, they actually move faster.

Isn't this what an escalator is designed to do?

If they turn them off for capacity issues then they always forget to turn them back on.
Damn those lazy Americans for being tired after walking all over the resort for 12 hours or more!!!
