  • DCA Today (02/08/05)

Okay, on a slow day Disneyland still attracts a few people.

    Now, a game!

There are several pictures I took today inside DCA.

See if you can find the day guests in these pics (don't be fooled by the CM's or security guards).

    Ready ?

    Go!:

Are you sure DCA was open? It looks like it's closed.

Just think how many times you could ride ToT and Screamin'.

Reminds me of when the Griswalds went to Wally World. No one in sight. Execpt in these pictures, the park was OPEN!

It's actually kinda sad, I can say that Shawn would have a FIELD day running around the empty park like that! LOL Michele can you just picture Shawn and Ali set free with no crowds!

...I wonder if Eisner knows...or even cares for that matter...
You would think that being in New York for eight months out of the year would be cool...not when the closest thing you have to Disneyland is the World of Disney Store on Madison.

Did you happen to notice that it seems as though the only gate they have open is an exit gate? And look at how few people are at the exit gate. Quite sad.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

You know they would. So much easier than chasing them around Redwook Creek. At least this way, you know they are safe because there aren't any people around to steal them.

Wow 4 years ago today I was sitting on Soarin' falling asleep due to tech problems. You know I had hopped that by now the park woudl be something big......well now we will have to wait about 20 months till we hear anything new about DCA.

Happy 4th DCA sorry no cards we are saving all our money for DL's 50th at WDW.

My husband would have LOVED it there today. Crowd control and ride capacity per hour seems to get better all the time LOL.

Not trying to stick up or anything but the shadows in the DL pics are very short (ie noon) and the shadows in the DCA pics are very long (ie early morning/opening)

Check out my mock photo tour from this past weekend at Universal Studios taken around opening...

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive.
If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."
                            Disneyland. My Anti-drug.

With all this talk of "off the shelf" and "on the back-burner" it seems the only thing that DCA is really missing is the kitchen sink!

I took photos today, I was at DCA from about 1 PM to 2 PM, and it was still quiet, Soarin was a one movie walkon, Screamin' was a 2 train wait...
