The lighting on the castle was on temporarily tonight, maybe about ten minutes, I was able to catch these before they were turned off...only the main tower was on and some on the lower right hand side, the icicles have been removed as well...

You can see the regular roof under the fiberglass cover. They need to put some fiberglass icicles, garland, or something to cover the gap between the real roof and the faux.

Thanks for the photo! It's fascinating to see the progress coming along with the "snow."

Now I just can't wait to see the entire building lit up!

Agreed. It's kind of jarring to see the snow covered roof as being nothing more than a "cone" placed on top of the castle.

Hopefully these things will get "fixed" as more and more gets added to the overlay.

Maybe they do read this forum and we hurt their feelings after talking about how tacky the "icicles" are. I feel bad now

                  They were pretty tacky though.

You and I must have been taking pictures at the same time If you don't mind, here are a couple of shots I took.

I tried to take some closeups but they came out too blurry.

No. I was wearing a big pink warm jacket and just have a little Sony camera. I was trying to get some shots by putting the camera on night and sitting it on trash cans or bracing it against poles. I did see a man wandering around with a nice camera. I can't tell by your screen name if you are a guy or a gal )
