Late check-out but regular version for the after party.

Saw some other photos on Twitter of the party tonight. It looked like a very swanky and elaborate event, and a perfect way to say goodbye to this attraction!
Very classy of TDA to go out this way, instead of just closing it down without fanfare or announcement.

I felt really bad for the handful of people I ran into at DCA today who were desperate to ride on ToT. I had to break it to them that it closed last night. One literally cried.
I'm not happy it closed, but I'm sure the new ride will be fine, if a little ugly in the skyline. I agree though that I don't want them taking Hollywoodland when it could be something truly remarkable.

I won't agree if some of you people/naysayers gave the John Carter of Mars film a negative review. I give the movie a positive film instead due to how awesome and unique it is. In fact, the movie became a cult-classic Disney film ever since it came out back in March of 2012! Amazing!
There won't be another Tower of Terror attraction...if the DCA version is replaced in a awful manner.
To those who enjoy, liking, and anticipating this kind of terrible change...well I do hope you're going to regret it in the future and if not, then beggars can't be choosers. Disney is not perfect and they make mistakes, but don't believe that every new replacement or new attraction they make is going to be amazing or an instant classic hit, if Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout comes to mind. The current Disney Empire is no longer the once family operated or owned company for very a long time.
I am still angry and disappointed at this loss and if I live in Florida and not too far from the Walt Disney World Resort. I won't complain, because I get to enjoy and ride the original Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios and I'll feel sorry for Californians locals and residents losing their 'Tower of Terror' attraction.
But I am not a Florida local or resident, I live in California, so that makes me a local and resident and I hate seeing my favorite attraction being changed into something like that! Twilight Zone fans and Disneyland fans are not happy and a bit devastated at this loss, we just recently lost our California version of the Tower of Terror, which is the second version.
Others like me won't have the money, privilege, and time to visit Walt Disney World more than once or 1-3 times in a month or year. So, I won't able to ride Tower of Terror anymore and same for others. I like WDW, but I wish I was rich enough to go there often as well. But no...
We simply lost this cool version of Tower of Terror even though it was shortened and was made on a slightly cheaper budget.Last edited by LangenFox; 01-05-2017, 12:44 PM.

And you're right. Tokyo Disney Sea is amazing. I got to go ten years when I was invited to do a series of signings in Japan. I was utterly blown away by TDS. I honestly didn't want to leave, but I had promised to be in Nagoya and Osaka as well. Been dying to go back to the Tokyo Disney Resort ever since.
