In Mr. Lutz's recent article regarding redoing DCA he mentioned some of the problems with Grizzly River Run: 1. Low appeal when the sun goes down because you are invariably drenched; 2. An inability to make more use of the mountain with added attractions (e.g. mine train or bringing back Country Bear Jamboree) due to structural inadequacies.
Two questions: Has anyone thought of handing out ponchos in line for free for anyone who wants one and then collecting them afterwards? Can NOTHING be done to make the area structurally more amenable to plussing up the area?
As an afterthought: What ever happened to the Pinball Falls on Grizzly River Run? The raft used to spin as it descended the final drop. Now, there's no spinning.
