Nah the show was removed. Not exactly sure why, maybe somebody else can enlighten us both.

      Re: Fantasy Waters?

The show closed down in 2004. It had a variety of problems since Disney abandon the show around 1996/1997. In the following years most of the show's components started going out and quite working until in 2004 when practically nothing worked. Today the upper pool where the fountain system was is now filled in with dirt and plants, however the lower pool still features some of the fountains from the show that just turn on and off during the day.

There are rumors that portions of it will be incorporated into World of Color.

        Just idle gossip.

lol... I doubt it, all of the show was gutted and sent back to Waltzing Waters inc.

World of Color is most likely going with another company called WET Design, which did the world famous Bellagio Fountains.

It would be lovely if they incorporated something like it into the 'new' hotel; unlikely but lovely.

Disney has been sitting on a set of fountains identical to the ones at the Bellagio since 1998.

                  I say bring it back!

I loved Fantasy Waters. It was one of the things I always looked forward to when we stayed at the D Hotel. The last time I saw it was probably the late 1990's, when they had the Christmas themed show. The grand finale of the show played Percy Faith's version of "Happy Holidays" (the one that sounds like go-go dancers are singing) and there was a good crowd of people gathered around. Just one of those nice Disney details that guests used to expect when they stayed there. Instead of maintaining or replacing parts what do they do? Let it die.

                  Pressler era.

                  'nuff said.

It's not like no one could have not know about the show. The older Disneyland maps included the Disneyland Hotel and it had its own shop, restaraunt, and attractions listing. Everyone riding the Monorail across the parking lot could hear the announcements advertising the hotel and its features. All you used to have to do was disembark at the Disneyland Hotel Station.

I remember when we would arrive for those few days in Anaheim. We would go to the hotel, walk the grounds, browse inside Mickey's Corner, and enjoy the weather and atmosphere.

Well, it's a shame that it's not there anymore. So you say there were other attractions? What were they?

They advertised attractions you pay for, like the old marina and the radio control boats and peddle boats, the arcade that was in the marina, etc.

Does anyone have a map or something like that, that you could post on here?
