The backstage tour that will take place at the beginning of next year that Al was talking about in his latest article. He kept mentioning that it's going to be a "Mega-Buck Tour", does anyone know how much this tour will actually go for?

According to: http://abd.disney.go.com/abd/en_US/d...DLRLandingPage
Rates will range between $2,079 and $2,999 for adults, and between $1,879 and $2,699 for children (under 12). The exact rate depends on how early you book and whether you're going during the value, standard, or peak season.

Re: Around How Much is this "Adventure By Disney Tour" going to Run?
That's a lot of money. It'd be nice to see some of the stuff on the tour (Walt's apartment), but I don't know if I'd want to see some of the other behind-the-scenes stuff. I'm afraid it'd take away from some of the magic.

Did I just completely miss where it talked about Walt's Apartment... I know they used to show it off now and then, and they still do for the A List, I was under the impression that it would not generally be open due to the inability to replace it's contents."Happiness is a Low Water Level"

Re: Around How Much is this "Adventure By Disney Tour" going to Run?
I know this seems like a lot of money, but when compared to past Disneyland events where the top tier ticket was close to $3,000.00, this is truly a bargain.
If I remember correctly, my wife and I paid $2,750.00 per person for dinner inside of the Tower of Terror. That was one night, one meal, one hotel room. This offering is for hotel rooms, meals and multiple experiences for almost an entire week for less than what we paid for one night.

Re: Around How Much is this "Adventure By Disney Tour" going to Run?
This is something i definatly want to do. Everything on here just seems cool. I am a huge muppets and Henson fan so i would love the Henson studio tour. Plus the El Capatian and all of the backstage stuff at DL.
I'm gonna forward this to my wife as an idea *cough* better give it to me or else *cough* birthday idea!"Here you leave Today and enter the world of Yesterday, Tomorrow and Bankruptcy!"
Maybe for once, someone will call me "Sir" without saying, "You're making a scene!"

In Al's article or in the itinerary I posted in this thread? If you missed it here it is:
After lunch, we continue the tour, including a privately guided VIP tour to Walt Disney's Apartment.
The apartment is still considered to be an exclusive location in the park itself, which is why I see the value in this tour.Last edited by ROBONICS95; 11-14-2007, 03:23 PM."If you build it right, they will come." - Bob Iger
