    7/31 UPDATE: http://micechat.com/167650-disneylan...ilroad-return/

    In response to:

"Posting links to videos created by other fan sites is a violation of MiceChat's rules.

Previously, I was unclear on this, and links were permitted. After meeting with the forum owner, I now know that they are not allowed. Any links to other fan sites, or even name mentions, will be removed.

I know this was the policy when MiceChat first started, but I thought it changed. This is not the case. It has always been a rule, but it has not been enforced. It will now be enforced. Thank you for your understanding."

Looks fantastic. The new effects in the Grand Canyon Diorama and Primeval World are very cool, and the new stretch along the RoA look just gorgeous. Disney did real good with this.

It looks beautiful! Taking my son tomorrow to take it all in! It’ll be his first time on the Mark Twain and The Disneyland R.R.

It's the summer, now known as the new "off season". Been very lovely since the AP blockouts for the lower passes went into effect. Saturdays haven't been very crowded either because only Signature is valid.

Cast Members will get their own private ride on Monday before park opening. Can't wait. Get a bunch of CMs together in an empty Disneyland and it's always quite the party.

I’m going for my first Saturday since I got my season pass. Hopefully it won’t be too bad. Though it will be the official opening day for everything on ROA so who knows?

What I've been noticing is that the out of town visitors (who make up most of the attendance in the summer) aren't as SPASTIC over "Disney things" in the park as the frequent locals are. The other day the main entrance into Star Wars Land opened along Big Thunder Trail. Most of the guests walking by just looked, and kept on walking. A few would venture down the path, look around, then leave uninterested. When Tom Sawyer's Island opened up, there was no mad rush to the rafts, nor was there a huge line waiting to get on. The guests were very nonchalant about the whole thing and casually walked over. And people start showing up for the 4:30 parade around...4:00. Fantasmic is back, but the line for the Fastpasses in the morning are shorter than the line for popcorn.
When the river attractions and railroad open, my guess is there will be enthusiasm by some who are aware of how long these things have been away. But the majority out of towners will treat the train, boats, canoes, etc. as just another part of their "to do list" for the day.

I assumed it was cause it was early but maybe it is the AP/summer effect lol.

True the waterfalls could've been more dramatic :/ But overall the scene is just so beautiful and alive!!

This! I even had someone tell me "calm down it's just a train" on one of my Youtube comments lol -_- Oh those normies, they'll never feel our excitement
The newly opened trails look great btw, but I can't help but worry that they'll be turned into a smoking area, since they'll now be the most secluded sections of the park.

I really like how it connects through Frontierland now. It really brings that area to life.
