  • Whats your favourite resort restaurant and your favourite meal?

All the talk about dining on the BB thread has got me hungry! Whats your favourite restaurant and meal?
It was always Blue Bayou and the surf and turf for me but then last visit I had the baked potato soup from Carnation Cafe and boy do I love that place! So they're joint favourites of mine now!

Waffle at the Carnation Cafe. Dinner Buffet at Story Teller Cafe. Used to be Red Beans and Rice at the French Market, but they got rid of it. 😪

That is one expensive buffet! Yet, I am also here to gloat over SH55. Either the prime rib or the beef shank! The lobster mac n cheese is to die for. And whoever said the firecracker duck wings at CC can dine with me anytime!!

Breakfast at goofys kitchen, the chicken fried steak at Carnation Cafe, chicken pesto pasta from Boardwalk pizza and pasta, braised short rib from Napa Rose! I also second really missing the red beans and rice from The French Market and you can never go wrong with a red corndog wagon corndog.
BGood! It's not just my motto its my name!

If we have to sit down I vote for the Chicken Gumbo @ the Blue Bayou. Iideally I would rather get a chimichanga and a drink and eat it I while inline for my next ride/attraction.

When we were kids ( 70's/80's food was much better from the carts. ) we never sat and ate, it was always grab something simple from a cart and eat while inline.:
                            - Breakfast Churro's or the old good fritters.
                            - Lunch chimichanga or corndog.
                            - Afternoon snack a pretzel or popcorn
                            - Dinner either the chimichanga or the corn dog you didn't have at lunch
                            - Then for dessert later in the evening either ice-cream or a big lollipop from the candy shop.

We'd be running from ride to ride and be burning off everything we ate. when we got thirsty we went to the drinking fountains. It was a different time indeed.
