                          Nope. You get “The Mandalorian.”

That’s all I can envision when I hear that name.

I think it was Red Letter Media that said it best - fans actually get more excited for the Star Wars announcements and trailers than they do for the actual movies these days. It’s an endless cycle of joy followed by disappointment.

It’s really amazing how Iger has transformed the company. I know streaming is the future and I guess it makes sense to gobble as many other companies up as you can to secure your own platform. But to me, Star Wars, Marvel and the Simpsons will never be Disney, especially those last two, which IMO are off brand.

To kids growing up on Disney plus, of course, the brands will be synonymous.

I chuckled when I first heard the Secret Project reveal. I was one of the few people who predicted that this D23 (the P&R aspect mainly) would be a total dud and it looks like I'm on the road to being right. Of course I could be speaking too soon. But so far nothing interesting has been remotely rumored about.

Yep. Disney is well on its way to becoming another Comcast, Time Warner, or Viacom -- a generic media mega-corporation that owns so many contrasting and conflicting brands that it has no distinctive identity.
