Well, a One Day ParkHopper is currently $91, and the Blockout Pass (same basic ticket) is $40, that is less than half the price.

And you can always upgrade to a higher AP at any time.

$40 seems fair to me. Especially if you knew buying the less expensive AP meant there would be blockout dates. If you do upgrade make sure you do it early in the year. Doesn't make sense to upgrade for a couple of months then having to renew.

$40 is fair. $91 is fair. Have you seen the parks recently? Demand is surging. I think they could even raise prices on those APs and not put a dent in attendance.

I hate to say it, but you are absolutely right.

It was wonderful! My mom, myself, and my partner decided to go on Thanksgiving Day, and it was nice. Not as crowded as I though it would be. Got on all the rides we wanted, had turkey dinner at ESPN, (Fight On SC), and ended the evening with fireworks, and a few more rides. While I am a Passholder, it was nice to not have all the other Passholders there. Blackout days can be WONDERFUL.
