I'm thankful for

I'm sure (or I sure hope) that everyone on MiceChat is thankful for Disneyland. However much we all complain about certain parts of it, we obviously love it. So what in Disneyland are you thankful for? It can be an attraction, or even a cast member.

I'm thankful for the whole park, specifically PotC, HM, Splash Mountain, and all the other attractions that just make the park complete.

I am thankful for a man that had the insight to look forward. Thanks to that I have many happy memories, made a lot of friends, and have a special place to take my grandkids and watch them dream. I am also very thankful for those friends, family, and grandkids!

Hey look, I'm thankful for my family and friends, but I am in no way shape or form thankful to a multinational conglomerate. While Disneyland is a place I enjoy going to, it seems silly to "give thanks" to it as you would your family and friends.

Unfortunately Disneyland is just a business. Things like dreams and magic and wishes are just marketing gimmicks. The roller coasters are fun though.

I guess I could say I am thankful to individuals such as John Hench, Tony Baxter, and other Imagineers who strive to uphold the art of Disney parks despite incompetent management and shareholders that only care about the bottom line. But to the company as a whole? No, never.
