  • RIP Gershwin Kingsley: Composer of MSEP and so

    Moment of Silence for the pioneering synthesist Gershwin Kingsley who just passed at the young age of 97. While of course Mr. Kingsley was known for so many wonderfully incredible groundbreaking electronic compositions, the Disneyland fans will instantly recognize one of his famous compositions entitled “Baroque Hoedown,” the theme song for Disney parks’ Main Street Electrical Parade (which he co-wrote with Jean-Jacques Perrey)

          Awww Just after seeing the parade in September, my mom and I were looking up the history of the music and how it came to be.

          Gershwin is lucky to have lived nearly 100 years! Thank you for the unique music, R.I.P.

            No wonder I've always loved that tune as well
            He give US .....HAPPY MUSIC......which was good medication for a HAPPY Person !
