Now that Project Eat More Food Than I Should has been completed, the Christmas season moves into overdrive. It seemed like a good time to look back at my past few trips to Disneyland and DCA. It's been awhile since I last posted a picture thread, so here is just a sampling of photos from September, October and November.
SEPTEMBER
During the insanely HOT Labor Day weekend, I came across Pluto entertaining the guests in Town Square. Kudos to this dancing CM, who must have been sweltering.

Mary Poppins, Bert and even more musicians were singing and dancing in front of the Castle.

Seeking some kind of air-conditioning, I ventured into the Golden Horseshoe for some fun with Billy Hill and the Hillbillies.

Stepping back outside, a quick raft ride later, I was on the Island. The Bootstrappers were playing, which is often a good sign that the Pirate stunt show might start soon.

I'm sure they're engaged in typical pirate conversation:
"Hi, how are the kids?"
"Just great! Jenny scored two goals in yesterday's soccer game."
"That's splendid! Can I bring over some pecan pie to help celebrate?"
Feeling giddy over the swordplay, I decided to see if any Jedis were around.

Getting your first lightsaber is an important moment in any young padawan's life.

I sense the dark side...

A not-so-quick trip around the submarine lagoon was also on the agenda. Maybe the heat kept people out of the line as there was just a 60 minute wait in the middle of the afternoon.

A hidden Nemo alongside the queue area.

I need to take a quick break. But more September pics are coming, including the Parade of Dreams and Aladdin.
