I'm going tomorrow morning and will be fighting/praying/attempting to get a Boarding Group. What is the best way/most successful way to access the screen to get a boarding group... There are like 3 different ways to submit for a boarding group. Thank you!

The key to success is so seemingly random lol. MiceChat's write up says only have one person try it in the group. Other sites say, it doesn't matter , have as many in the group try it at the same time. Its sad how much a lottery this is. Good luck tomorrow. At least you live near by?.... hopefully. I"ll be making a second attempt this weekend. Couple hundred miles drive. lol

As soon as we got in, we found a corner near the parade entrance where we could post up. We were lucky enough to get Boarding Group 18, which was the 8th group it sounded like because I think they started at Group 10 yesterday. Anyways, we chatted with a girl that helped us out... She was 2/2 for a boarding group and I was 0/1 haha. With her help, my guest and I were able to use both our phones, and we both got into the server extremely easy.
This was different from Saturday (2/1) where our phones weren't connecting to the Disneyland App in time to get us a Boarding Group right at 8am.
Anyways, we watched the groups all morning and saw it stuck on Group 10-17 for about an hr or two. I figured there was a breakdown. We were in DCA when we decided we'd jump into Disneyland and waste time until 18 was called. We queued for the DLRR at Main Street, rode the train to our desired destination in New Orleans, and we were about to take a raft to Tom Sawyer's Island when we got the push notification! So we headed straight to the attraction, where there was no wait and we walked right into the first preload show. We couldn't have been luckier!!
I won't share too many secrets about the ride itself, but I WILL say that it truly feels like you're *escaping*, thanks to the incredible cast and the pacing of the attraction.

We left the hotel at 6:50a, with the walk and everything, we were in a line with our backs against the DCA gates around 715/720. They didn't start letting guests in the front gate until about 730. That's when I was a bit fearful we wouldn't get in the gates by 8am; however, we got in with (ONLY!) 8 minutes to spare. It was sad because guests that arrived AT 730 probably weren't in the parks in time for a Boarding Group.
