  • [Fun] Old complimentary pass and MM club card

I was rooting around some old papers found my son's old MM Club card and a certificate for a one-day child's pass to DL, MK, or Epcot. They would have been issued around October of '85 or '86 and (unfortunately) the certificate has an expiration date on it of 3/31/1988.

I suppose there's no way that pass certificate retains any value for admission, right?

At any rate, it was a real kick to find.

I had one too! I thought it made me just the coolest kid on the block! Much cooler than an old library card.

Remember "Meeska, mooska, Mouseketeer! Mickey cartoon time now is here!!"?

I also remember a quote I heard Jimmy Dodd say on the show and used to say it to my sons; "Don't shirk your work for the sake of a dream, a fish in the hand is worth two in the stream".

somewhere in my collection of Disney papers, I have some complimentary passes to Disneyland that they used to give to shareholders when they had the annual meetings in Anaheim. we didn't know that we would be getting them and we already had multi-day tickets that covered our stay so we didn't use them.

I recall also meeting Jimmy Dodd in Tomorrow Land
            and Roy Williams
,he gave a art drawing picture of MICKEY !

Jimmy Dodd the one ,that came up with the
            "The Mickey Mouse Club March."
