I would pay a good bit of money to have a high quality version of these with a VR headset. All of our favorite extinct attractions brought back to life.
This is an attraction I wish I could have experienced. It some ways, The Haunted Mansion is the closest ride to Adventure Thru Innerspace. Not only do you ride in similar vehicles, but in both cases the narrator was or is Paul Frees himself.

In more ways than that. Here's an excerpt from a blog post I made about ATIS several years ago:
You enter the attraction building. It's dimly lit, but there are plenty of details to examine while you wait. An unseen narrator—the voice of Paul Frees—speaks to you, introducing you to the nature of the experience ahead without giving away too much. You approach the eggshell-shaped Omnimover ride vehicles, an endless line of them moving at slow but constant speed. A moving walkway allows you to match this speed and climb aboard. The front of the vehicle closes, holding you in place. Your conveyance moves into the darkness, with the disembodied narrator accompanying you. Eerie music plays in the background. The air acquires a chill as you pass by a succession of strange sights—mysterious lights and shapes and floating objects, their significance explained at the discretion of the narrator. Tension mounts. You may be in danger. Then you enter a spacious area with a glowing globe as its focal point. Your attention is riveted to it. After leaving this area, the ride takes on a different tone. The floating entities are more numerous and active now, but the sense of danger has lessened considerably. You enjoy lively music until the ride comes to an end.

YEP-another great attraction ,that was narrator by Paul Frees

It was legendary and I miss it.
Adventure Thru Innerspace and Mine Train Thru Nature's Wonderland were attractions talked about a lot on mice chat over the years. It's nice to know there are YouTube videos to show us what the ride looked like and how it worked. Unfortunately for Mine Train Thru Nature's Wonderland, there are no known videos of it. My point is this: as long as there are videos or soundtracks to extinct attractions, the ride will never be totally gone.

You can say a lot about Paul Frees, who would have been 100 this year. Rides like Adventure Thru Innerspace, Mine Train Thru Innerspace, and the Disneyland version of Carousel of Progress must have been fun to been on. I can't say the rides were great or lousy because they came and went before my time or before I could really remember things.

I love this tone. Disneyland generally and Tomorrowland specifically need more of this feeling of mystery and unknown. Not everything needs be whimsical.
