  • News Buena Vista Street reopens Nov. 19th

Buena Vista Street is set to reopen in 2 weeks, on November 19th. There will be no entrance fee, but the Simba parking lot will be charging $10.

The business that will be open are:
...Elias & Co., Julius Katz & Sons, Kingswell Camera Shop, and the eateries to reopen are Trolley Treats, Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe, Carthay Circle Lounge and Smokejumpers Grill.
I'm surprised that Smokejumpers Grill is being added to the group, despite being in Grizzly Peak.

Will you be there in 2 weeks or still waiting the closure out?

I can't go because I'm out of state..
Disney sets a reopening date for some restaurants and stores at its Disneyland-adjacent Disney California Adventure, which has been closed since March

    "Smokejumpers Grill"
I enjoy the food there..................It's been mostly outdoor eating place anyway !

Disney open what they can.....for business reason
But just the parking alone at $10 , they making money!

In time for that Christmas Shopping.....
which Knott's been doing for some years now, with there Craft fair .

We have to see how it goes......I see as a test - IMO
    My self,
I going do my shopping safe way as possible........
and worth going to Disneyland Resort ,still not there
    I can wait!

The $10 parking fee is an interesting choice. I'm guessing it's being implemented to curb what they must be expecting to be overwhelming attendance. I hope DCA is decked out for the holidays and I expect it will be. I'm also hearing that Splitsville and Catal will be opening up by the end of the month. Splitsville will not be offering bowling and Catal will be weekends only.

I'll admit, Carthay Circle Lounge sounds very nice... but after my last Downtown Disney experience, I'll just wait until 2021, lol.

Unfortunately they won’t have their regular menu. Just 2 kinds of corn dogs and some fried cheese thing.

Not a fan of the parks fee, mainly because the lines to get into the lot are insane and ten bucks isn't going to stop people. So now every car has t o stop and pay adding 30ish seconds a car
                        Happy Halloween!!!

NO. You will now pay for your ticket on DTD and then just insert in the machine to exit. And there are multiple lanes to exit.

Some of us still have an annual pass with parking included. Do we still have to pay the $10?

Last I visited DTD, they honored my AP with discounts, so I don't think there's any reason to believe that they won't honor your AP.

Good question, and I think you will have to. The AP contract states the following, "The parking benefit is valid for parking for one (1) standard vehicle only at pay-on-entry lots at the Disneyland® Resort. "

The Simba lot is pay as you exit, not pay on entry.

And they still give the discounts on DTD.

No, because your AP parking covers theme park parking; it has never been for the Simba lot (except on overflow days)

Not sure if someone has already asked this but, does anyone know when or how people can RSVP for DCA? I RSVP'd through the Disney app for this weekend down in the DTD. I didn't see any mention of DCA reservation.

"Guests arriving at the entrance of Buena Vista Street should be prepared to present proof of the day's dining reservation for entrance and may enter up to an hour prior to their reservations with their full party."

I feel like I'm missing something. Are they only allowing people into Buena Vista if you have a dining reservation?
