Heck no! The best thing about Disneyland is the quaint and cramped conditions. It feels more alive with things just as they are.

The other castles are impressive, yes, but I wouldn't trade ours. It's charming the way it is, and perfect size for the park.

I miss the unfinished spire. I know that they left some bricks unpainted but it isn't the same to me.

i don't think that I would take the castle away. I think that each park should have its own individual castle.. That is one of the things that makes each park unique!!! I would, however scale up the DL castle. It needs to be bigger!!!!!

That or it didn't support wheelchairs. I'm not too certain, there's a lot of rumors on why it was shut.

no offense to anyone but! I REALLY hate our castle.

The last time I was there.. well after it's rehab... It looked like Barbie's castle -_-. Things were so much larger when I was younger but this is just... ridiculous.

Now it just reminds me of mini golf. I mean, yeah each park should have their own castle but... MAKE A NEW ONE... on an even more grander scale than Paris'!.

Haha! While I appreciate the refurb and I wouldn't want to trade our castle for another, I do see your point here. Very funny!

I love our castle just the way it is. The only castle that ourshines ours is DLP's incredible version that echos the Evynd Earl artwork from the film. Otherwise, I think the others are too big and gaudy. Ours fits the scale of our diminutive park perfectly.

Sleeping Beauty Castle is gorgeous.

There's nothing inherently wrong with the charming, intimiate scale that the overblown castles of the other parks have wrongly implied.

Furthermore, the Tokyo and Florida castles are, as a wiser man said above, UGLY.

Paris' castle is beautiful, but the idea behind it - - a purposefully almost- cartoonish, storybook-looking castle was perfect for a country filled with real castles. Our far more realistic castle (practically a copy of Neuschwanstein in Bavaria) is perfect for our country with nary a castle in it.



And lest I remind you all of one more thing: Walt Disney approved.

Thats right. Walt originally has Disneyland's Castle bigger like WDW's, however when he went back to Europe he was told that bigger castles were to scare people away. So Walt scaled down Disneyland's, and thats why he changed it.
