OC Register: Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street visitors face 2 new mask rules
"Disneyland has tightened requirements again on COVID-19 face masks in Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street with an eye toward strengthening health and safety protocols.
The resort has updated two face covering policies to require masks for those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine and clarify the use of so-called clear face masks.
Disneyland and Disney California Adventure closed in March and are unlikely to return to full operation until spring or summer under COVID-19 health and safety reopening guidelines issued by the state. The Downtown Disney outdoor shopping mall reopened in July and DCA’s Buena Vista Street returned for shopping and dining in November.
Disneyland’s updated policy emphasizes that everyone must wear a face mask — even if they’ve been vaccinated.
Clear face masks can be worn provided the integrated transparent plastic panel is attached to the fabric on all sides using tight knit stitching. The clear face masks are designed to aid the deaf and lip readers...."
