They also released a video and I have to say it looks way better than I expected

So excited!! DCA is one step closer to becoming a full day DISNEY park!!The Never Spoken Dedication at the Opening of Pixar Pier:
The world you have entered was created by The Walt Disney Company and is dedicated to California—not a place on a map, but a
state of mind that exists whenever people seek nostalgia and wonder and imagine, a place where the original California Adventure vision and atmosphere are brought back to life by Pixar's vibrant color palette. We invite you to travel to a bygone era of the early 2000s at California Adventure and explore a land that never was, and always will be.

Nice lil teaser. Kinda hoping for more information. Was hoping for WS to see the inside. I'm not even sure, as of this comment, if it's planned to open with the Campus. Anyone know? I have not been keeping up. Just found out about the alleged westside addition today (the whole reason I came to MC in the first place today).
Cute hidden Mickey at about the 8 second mark. At least that's what I thought they were going for.As part of a Public Service Announcement...Guardians Of The Galaxy...is abbreviated like this
Mission: Breakout
GOTG M:B
The colon is placed after the "M", not before it.
That is all. 😉

Looks amazing, spectacular, uncanny, fantastic, dare I say, ultimate? All Marvel puns aside it looks great, sad I'll never get to see it THAT empty lol. Also, I legit didn't expect it to open that soon, I figured they would want to get the parks back to full capacity first. The only thing that sucks is that they didn't do the Avengers E-ticket yet, but at least it gives us something to look forward to laterTrips coming up:

Looks nice and ambient at night, but that's a compliment that could be applied to almost all of Disneyland Resort and its nightlife atmosphere. I wonder if in the daylight it will look just as interesting?
I look forward to seeing pictures, and what kind of cool shots people can get.

The land does look amazing, especially at night. But sadly, it's not very big. Remember how small A Bug's Land was? They did a good job, but I totally see some sort of reservation system to enter the land. Even with park capacity limits, it's not going to fit everyone.
As for the ride, gamers would probably like it. But for those expecting something with more storyline to it, not gonna happen. It's a 3D game, plain and simple.

Disney announced it has partnered with Impossible Foods to make the Impossible Burger the "preferred plant-based burger" of Disneyland, Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line.
For those who haven't tried it yet, I quite enjoy the Impossible burger product and have started cooking with it at home now that it's more widely available.
Excited about the land and that they actually advertised the 'jumping' Spider-Man animatronic. Hopefully will get to check it out late summer or early fall."...nostalgia is the worst. It is a toxic impulse that leads to nothing good, honestly. The idea that things were better once and are terrible now and getting worse every minute is what fuels the worst, in my opinion, movements in contemporary culture." - John Hodgman

To help reduce the Rise of the Resistance-type frustrationof guests who can't ride it because of huge demand and limited capacity,
and to prevent 3-hour Tokyo Disneyland-type lines,
Disney should use the Spiderman screen shooter attraction to raise money for Doctors Without Borders, or Orange (Anaheim!) & L.A. County homeless programs,
Disney could charge $15 to experience this in June and $12 in July and early August.
Yes, this would be awful (WE PAID OVER $100 TO ENTER THE PARK!), and Disney would have to let everyone know about this before they entered DCA,
but it might alleviate some of the opening attraction blues
and it would raise ten of millions of dollars for a good cause.Last edited by jcruise86; 04-09-2021, 11:33 AM.

Welcome to the Avengers Campus. Don't let the name fool you. There's plenty of excitement to be found here. Please visit our first attraction, Spiderman visits Circuit City and then mosey on over to a well dressed cosplay exhibit with poorly dressed cosplayers. Why do superheroes in every theme park look like they got their costumes and wigs from one of those temporary Halloween store locations? All that research and development on acrobatic animatronics and none on how to make a 16 year-old kid look like Captain America and not like a 16 year-old kid in Captain America pajamas.
All jokes aside, does anyone know how the Collector's Fortress fits into the Avenger's Campus storywise? Any bets on it being invisible? If only that were the case in real life.

I have to be honest I am actually underwhelmed on this as a Marvel Fan. It just feels like a pop up land with no real depth and story, here's a store and a restaurant and a A single ride ( I do not count GotG as it was there for year prior and is dressed to match and not very integrated into the story of the land). I am glad Bugs Land was there when my kids were small and I feel for the parents of lil ones now that missed out on what was a really a good job of bringing guests into a deep story. Maybe I will change my mind once the rumored E-ticket ride gets put in but otherwise it's such a HUGE IP from Disney to pull from and I think it misses the mark on what it could have been.Disneyland Fan since the 70's
