So excited!! DCA is one step closer to becoming a full day DISNEY park!!
The Never Spoken Dedication at the Opening of Pixar Pier:

The world you have entered was created by The Walt Disney Company and is dedicated to California—not a place on a map, but a
state of mind that exists whenever people seek nostalgia and wonder and imagine, a place where the original California Adventure vision and atmosphere are brought back to life by Pixar's vibrant color palette. We invite you to travel to a bygone era of the early 2000s at California Adventure and explore a land that never was, and always will be.

Argh! That was one of the weekends we were trying for (my friend's birthday). She has tickets, so mayyyyyyybe she'll get lucky since she gets to make reservations early. If she does get them, it would be way cool to see the new land!

Nice lil teaser. Kinda hoping for more information. Was hoping for WS to see the inside. I'm not even sure, as of this comment, if it's planned to open with the Campus. Anyone know? I have not been keeping up. Just found out about the alleged westside addition today (the whole reason I came to MC in the first place today).

Cute hidden Mickey at about the 8 second mark. At least that's what I thought they were going for.

Looks amazing, spectacular, uncanny, fantastic, dare I say, ultimate? All Marvel puns aside it looks great, sad I'll never get to see it THAT empty lol. Also, I legit didn't expect it to open that soon, I figured they would want to get the parks back to full capacity first. The only thing that sucks is that they didn't do the Avengers E-ticket yet, but at least it gives us something to look forward to later
          Trips coming up:

          May 22-26th
          July 13th-18th
          November 19th-25th

Looks nice and ambient at night, but that's a compliment that could be applied to almost all of Disneyland Resort and its nightlife atmosphere. I wonder if in the daylight it will look just as interesting?

I look forward to seeing pictures, and what kind of cool shots people can get.

I knew the e ticket was on hold. Just wasn't sure about Spiderman. Thx for the info.

The land does look amazing, especially at night. But sadly, it's not very big. Remember how small A Bug's Land was? They did a good job, but I totally see some sort of reservation system to enter the land. Even with park capacity limits, it's not going to fit everyone.
As for the ride, gamers would probably like it. But for those expecting something with more storyline to it, not gonna happen. It's a 3D game, plain and simple.

Based on the recent promotional images, It appears that Pym Test Kitchens will be sponsored by Impossible Foods(The brand that makes plant based burgers).

I don't think it's a straight up sponsorship like the old days. Disney announced last year that they were "partnering" with Impossible Foods to make it the "preferred plant based burger" for the parks and cruise line .

Disney announced it has partnered with Impossible Foods to make the Impossible Burger the "preferred plant-based burger" of Disneyland, Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line.

For those who haven't tried it yet, I quite enjoy the Impossible burger product and have started cooking with it at home now that it's more widely available.

Excited about the land and that they actually advertised the 'jumping' Spider-Man animatronic. Hopefully will get to check it out late summer or early fall.

To help reduce the Rise of the Resistance-type frustration of guests who can't ride it because of huge demand and limited capacity,
and to prevent 3-hour Tokyo Disneyland-type lines,
Disney should use the Spiderman screen shooter attraction to raise money for Doctors Without Borders, or Orange (Anaheim!) & L.A. County homeless programs,
Disney could charge $15 to experience this in June and $12 in July and early August.
Yes, this would be awful (WE PAID OVER $100 TO ENTER THE PARK!), and Disney would have to let everyone know about this before they entered DCA,
but it might alleviate some of the opening attraction blues
and it would raise ten of millions of dollars for a good cause.

Not gonna lie, ever since someone suggested the idea on twitter, all I can think of is how cool a Doctor Strange version of Mystic Manor would be. I don't know how big that show building would have to be, but something tells me that there isn't room for that and the Avengers E-ticket. Not unless Avengers ends up taking up a bit more of the Hollywood area because the only real expansion pad they gave themselves on this was the future E-ticket

Welcome to the Avengers Campus. Don't let the name fool you. There's plenty of excitement to be found here. Please visit our first attraction, Spiderman visits Circuit City and then mosey on over to a well dressed cosplay exhibit with poorly dressed cosplayers. Why do superheroes in every theme park look like they got their costumes and wigs from one of those temporary Halloween store locations? All that research and development on acrobatic animatronics and none on how to make a 16 year-old kid look like Captain America and not like a 16 year-old kid in Captain America pajamas.

All jokes aside, does anyone know how the Collector's Fortress fits into the Avenger's Campus storywise? Any bets on it being invisible? If only that were the case in real life.

iirc the imagineers said that the fortress travels from place to place.

That's doubtful, as it's featured prominently in the video that they just released this week. In fact, it's the last structure you see in the video, so it's definitely not by accident.

I have to be honest I am actually underwhelmed on this as a Marvel Fan. It just feels like a pop up land with no real depth and story, here's a store and a restaurant and a A single ride ( I do not count GotG as it was there for year prior and is dressed to match and not very integrated into the story of the land). I am glad Bugs Land was there when my kids were small and I feel for the parents of lil ones now that missed out on what was a really a good job of bringing guests into a deep story. Maybe I will change my mind once the rumored E-ticket ride gets put in but otherwise it's such a HUGE IP from Disney to pull from and I think it misses the mark on what it could have been.

I hear ya. I'm way less excited about Spider-Man than I wanted to be due to it being a video game. I am honestly sick of video game rides (Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Toy Story Midway Mania, Smuggler's Run, and now Spider-Man. I definitely wish they had gone with the ride vehicle design we saw those patents for (the swinging pendulum). I also just don't like these lands they're building with 2-3 C, D, & E tickets instead of packing more in. my favorite areas of Disneyland are Fantasyland (with what, like 10 rides between the castle and Story Book Land and not counting Matterhorn and Small World), New Orleans Square (2 E tickets and Fantasmic, and super spread out), and I like the concept of Tomorrowland although it needs a major overhaul. I just don't see the point of building new lands that only have 2-3 attractions. Give us more to do that isn't shopping and dining.
