  • CM Previews April 27-29

Disney is allowing CMs, both active and furloughed, to access CM preview days that run from the 27th through the 29th. CM's may bring up to three friends, and they can schedule their preview on the Hub starting in a few days.

If anyone here is a CM, or knows a CM, that needs a third friend, please let me know. I'm housebroken and I've had all my shots.

Seriously, though, this might be a good chance for us to get some pictures of the condition of the park before the 30th. I know they had Touch of Disney CM previews, and I saw a few social media posts.

That's nice they extended the invitation to furloughed CMs. I hope they go back to work soon.

I won't be attending the Cast Previews because I'll be working all three days and on into the regular park opening. I can tell you that Disneyland is super busy with getting the place ready to go. Covid-wise they've been ready since summer of 2020. They may have to replace the social distancing markers because they've become weather-worn and tear easily.
The Cast Previews are more than a thank you to CMs. It's also an important test of how they will operate while complying with state regulations. There's a lot to figure out so both parks are ready on the 30th. DCA obviously had the head start on this.

Do you work at the time the park opens? If not, you might have the opportunity to sign in your friends before you go to work on one of the days. I'm not saying you should do this. I'm only mentioning it in case you had not thought of it.

            Was I too obvious?

I am trying everything, and I mean everything, in order to get a chance to get in to the park. I know getting tickets is going to be a nightmare, and I don't want to put all my eggs in that basket.

I will be going with a friend from work whose wife is a CM. Yeah for me!!!!!!!
"And yes, we implore EVERYBODY to follow the park rules. Having off-ride footage is great, but any still photo's or video's taken ON the coasters at SFMM are strictly against the rules. They are there for your (and everybody's) safety." "Six Flags doesn't allow ANY loose articles on their coasters, and they don't allow video taping on their coasters. " BUT, " This is not true. Six Flags does not allow ANY On-Ride video or pictures on the rides. The ONLY way is if you get explicit permission from Park Management." ???

Sorry. The Disneyland Resort has a CM guest policy. Unless they are direct relatives, Cast Members must accompany their guests the entire time they are in the parks. This rule has always been around but rarely enforced. But months before the shutdown, they starting enforcing this rule.
