Has anyone been able to secure a park hopper reservation with their Magic Key pass? I was able to book several reservations yesterday but for only one park at a time. When making reservations I saw options to book either Disneyland or DCA for a 'full day' but no park hopper options. Am I missing something, or has Disney decided to allow Magic Key passholders to only book one park at a time for now? Any help would be appreciated?

That is curious, you would think they would have plenty of Park Hopper ( icon showing both Ferris Wheel and Castle ) on day one?
I will be curious to see how the MK's reservation calendars differ from the gen. admin calendars. I know if you buy a 3 day Cali Res ticket all days are currently available for park hopper from now until end of Sept when those tickets expire.Disneyland Fan since the 70's

Correction: I was referring to WDW rules regarding the requirement to enter the park you had a reservation for first. At the DLR, if you arrive after 1 you can go to either park as long as you had a reservation.

This is how I interpreted the fine text above:
Your Magic Key is automatically made a park hopper (if the reservation date chosen allows it).
The only kicker is that you are may not be able to park hop if they sell out of park hopping day tickets. Thus, the park you choose may be the only park you can access (if Disney sells too many park-hoppers. Basically, you are not guaranteed the hop so that Disney can keep selling park hoppers.1 Photo

Thanks PhotoMatt!
Part of the confusion may be that back in the FlexPass days you had to have a distinct park hopper reservation to go to both parks (that is my memory, at least).
In any case, my first reservation to Disneyland is Saturday, so I'll give it a go after 1 pm and see if we can successfully park hop over to DCA.

That is good to know regarding park hopper. As a local, as long as you can start in DL then the likelihood of DCA selling out is very very very unlikely. If you start out at DCA and DL sells out it is also not a big deal as DCA is still fun for us and we’d go to DL the next trip. But if they really limit MK reservations and they are not as easy to come by as Flex was then “Anaheim we have a problem”. This is one of the many issues that has me holding off.
If they do over-limit reservations then it will be hard to sell the MK’s as very few if any customers will want to buy a pass that they can’t use for 90 days waiting for an opening in the reservations.Disneyland Fan since the 70's

I think lots of folks were confused. I just looked again at the reservation page, and yes there is a little paragraph explaining that MK folks can park hop after 1:00pm, BUT the buttons for DL and DCA say "All Day". No wonder folks are confused. I got sucked into the FOMO and waited 7 hours to get the Imagine pass Wed. On Thurs at 11:30 I got a reservation and hit the park at 2:00. Very light crowds. CMs were very pleasant. We had a great day.Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did.
