If you have a reservation for the park, but know you wont be able to enter until after noon, can you use the app to book your place in the ROTR queue based only on the fact that you have a reservation? Or will the GPS location rules still apply?

Yes, you can; however, if you get one of the first spots in the boarding queue and they board your group at 10 AM or so, and you're not there by 11 AM, then you've lost your chance for the day. -
As long as you have a park reservation for that day, you can get a boarding pass from anywhere at 7am and 12pm. You don't have to be in the gates anymore.
I'd try both times. If you get a boarding time before you plan to be there, you can cancel and try again at 12.

Not sure if this has changed in the last 7 Days, but last Friday I had a reservation ( Magic Key Holder) and I was only able to reserve ROTR for the 7 AM Drawing while not being scanned in. The 12 pm is only for people who have entered the park. To another point, If you get the 7 AM and dont show up til 5 PM as long as you have a screenshot of the boarding pass, City hall will usually help you out and get you into a later boarding group that night. This also happened to me on Friday-

This is what I found out through my own trials. you CANNOT get a reservation for a ride in the noon window. You also cannot get into any standby line for a restaurant unless real close to said location in the park.Originally posted by Droberts1395 View Post
