Waiting 45 minutes even after reserving a virtual queue spot is still very painful, but I can’t imagine what it will be like with the chaos of Lightning Lane. 😓

Lightning Lane will definitely slow that standby wait down. Which is a shame because an 80 min standby line for the newest, headliner attraction is not bad. Especially since posted wait times are more often than not, slightly inflated as to avoid any unpleasantness with Guests who end up waiting 10-15 minutes longer than they expected.

I'm being optimistic, of course, but crossing my fingers.

People have been saying the posted wait is usually way higher than the actual wait time which seems to hover between 40-60 min.Favorite Ride: Tower of Terror

I have reservations for the 22nd of December and trying to decide whether to push them back to the 4th or 5th of Jan as my kids are still out of school that week. We havent been in three years due to a relocation out of state so would really like to get the kids on this ride even if that means showing up super early to stand in line in front of the park. I assume crowds will be dramatically less the first week of Jan.

Riding RoTR isn’t difficult at all anymore. You just need to invest a solid hour or so in line.Favorite Ride: Tower of Terror
