  • Morning Game Plan?

We're heading to Disneyland tomorrow for our first time in a couple years. Without FastPass or Boarding Groups, etc. just wondering if anyone has a good morning game plan that they'd like to share? We're starting at Disneyland and obviously want to hit Rise of the Resistance at some point, but also like the idea of those tiny wait times on the other classics that seem to be the case in the morning. All ideas welcome!

As you mentioned, I always like knocking out the rides in the fantasyland courtyard early on. I'd pass on Peter Pan until later in the day unless you really are one of the first people in line. Storybookland Canal Boat lines get longer throughout the day and is one of my least favorite to wait in.

Rise lines seem to be their shortest right before hopping is allowed. Also, do the NOS rides during the fireworks. Matterhorn/Space Mountain tend to be shortest after dark, as well.

Start at Jungle cruise, go to Indiana, Ride Pirates... Everyone is trying to line up for Rise of the resistance and they CM's straight up yell not to line up for adventureland to get access to RoTR before the rope drops.

I have not yet done it for ROTR rope drop since Standby? also how far in advance do they tell you they are using virtual queue? does anyone know? Finally, where do you line up for ROTR rope drop?

The virtual que for rise is gone. Line up on the far left before rope drop and the Cm's will tell everyone loudly that there is no admit to RotR thru adventureland...Enjoy the lack of lines for at least the first 2 hours...

              LOL-I think Storybookland Canal Boat
Is a cute little ride to enjoy......But is not one ,that would wait in a big line for.
              I agree with you
Same goes with lots of the Dark Rides in Fantasyland......
It depend how long the line is......
              Soaring like an EAGLE !
