They’ve started refilling the bay with water as of today 12/6/2021. Looks like WoC may return soon.

They will likely need to test all the fountains and effects still. And of course, the most dreaded part of testing, the raising & lowering of the show's platforms. Those giant platforms are cursed(or badly designed).

The issue has always been the engineering required for moving parts underwater. Rust isn't necessarily the biggest problem as that can be solved by material choice. It's the multiple points of failure, such as pumps, flexible hosing, waterproof tubing, electrical, and gaskets that present some of the most difficult challenges as the three platforms are so complex, in addition to the show running twice nightly for a majority of every year.

We were there the 13th. Lagoon was full, but there were plywood platforms with hand rails all around concrete pilings where the laser towers used to be. The platforms and railings were fairly substantial.Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream.Mark Twain
