Heading to the parks this next week. Was looking to purchase Photo Pass in the app ahead of time, but can no longer locate where to do it. Last I checked, it was $10 a day. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Yes you can get it through Genie+ but we didn't want to spend $80 a day for the 4 of us for 3 days just for some photos. We weren't using Lightning Lane.
Talked to one of the Cast Member Photographers and found out how it works. If having photos taken by a photographer, have them scan a PhotoPass card. Link that card to your Disney account in the app. When the photos show up, click on one of them. It will give you the option to "Buy Photo". Click the button and you'll see 2 options. One to purchase just that photo for $14.99 (I think), or all photos from the day for $19.99. We did the all photos for the day. After doing that, the watermarks were all gone and the photos were able to downloaded and saved.
If you do an attraction photo first, just type in the 8 character ID into the app, and follow the same process to purchase. Attraction and photograper photos are all included in the $19.99 one day.
This needs to be done for each day using the service.
Hope this helps anyone else that wants to use this service. We really love the PhotoPass with Magic Shots!!1 Photo
