  • Tentative Rehab Schedule

Friend of mine in attractions gave me the scoop of the "tentative" rehab schedule for DLP and DCA for the rest of 2005 - 2006. Couldn't remember the exact dates...most likely someone else will have the info on this board. Of interest, from the look of it Haunted Mansion Holiday IS being planned for next year, and Pirates is getting that long 3 month overhaul next spring. Enjoy!

*Hollywood Pictures Backlot "enhancements" - September - December '05

*Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay - September '05

*"it's a small world" Holiday overlay - late October '05

    *Jungle Cruise (mid-week rehabs) - November - December '05

    *Haunted Mansion - January '06

    *"it's a small world" - January '06

    *California Screamin' - January - March? '06

    *Mulholland Madness - April '06

*Pirates of the Caribbean - March - June '06

*Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay - September '06

I dunno . . . overlay for the "California Easter Eggscream"???? :lmao:

Glad to see there's not a lot of work being done in October. That's when I'm going.

California Screamin' has yet to close for rehab since DCA opened. They have done some overnight work on it. The coaster probably needs a good bit of major-maintenance done on it, and perhaps a fresh paint job!

It did close once in January 2003 for a few weeks.

Mullholland Maddness? Hmm maybe it will be unfixable and they will have to remove the corner stone to the second weakest area in DCA and revamp that whole area sooner than expected. (Yeah right but a boy can dream)

Oh and obviously Bugs Life is the first!

I'm going in early June. Do you all think Pirates will be open by then? :beg:

With Screamin and Madness closing in the spring, looks like Paradise Pier is the next to be Ouimetized after HPB, and thank gosh for that. Screamin', especially, desperately needs some work.
