  • Would We Have Ever Gotten Buzz?

I realized that if Rocket Rods was a stable ride and it had a long run like most of the other attractions (by the ride, I mean it's queue), we would have never gotten the Buzz ride. It would'nt fit in any other Tomorrowland building except for Star Tours and 3-D theater but they wouldn't get rid of that. It also wouldn't have any place in all the other lands in the park. Buzz came to all the other Magic Kingdom parks because their Tomorrowlands had an outadated attraction with a large building (for Ex: The Visionariums and Take Flight). HKD Disneyland got their Buzz as part of their opening roster. Does anybody think that if we had Rocket Rods still, we would be the only Magic Kingdom style park without a Buzz?

If RR was still functioning there woulnd't have been much of a need for Buzz.

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive.
If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

With all this talk of "off the shelf" and "on the back-burner" it seems the only thing that DCA is really missing is the kitchen sink!

Buzz would probably have found a new home somewhere else.. maybe in DCA....

or use the technology and re theme it to something else...

i think they would have put it in DCA if rocket rods would have still been working.

How big is the former Mission to Mars/current Redd Rockets building? It obviously used to be an attraction and I would not lose any sleep over it reverting back to one.

It is probably not that big. Mission to Mars was, if I remember, basically a small theater...(I think their were two duplicated theaters)...

how big are two small theatres compared with one circlevision theatre, though? I'm comparing this with Stitch's (Great, supposedly) Escape! at WDW, which doesn't seem all that small to me, and it, similarly, has two theatres.

I guess you could turn it back into a ride but it'd probably end up being Stitch which is worse than Redd Rocket's by a lot.

Supposedly there are no cameras inside IASW. It's been a long-standing family joke that one day we're going to come off the ride and tell a CM, "There's a guy in there who jumped out of his boat, ripped out a giant flower, and started knocking the heads off all the dolls with it, screaming 'MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STOP!'"

You know, just to see their reaction.
