  • New to forum - pyro and night shots

Hello all! I'm new to MiceChat and wanted to share with y'all some nighttime DL shots. I shoot professional fireworks show as a hobby, and I also love taking picts of the same.

    Main street, during October's overlay:

This is the shot I was really after; set the f/stop for the pyro, the length of exposure for the castle, and the flash for the statue.

Lots more of these in this gallery:

For the Christmas pyro, I set up in a different location. Because the park was closing early and not doing Fantasmic! *and* they were shooting the fireworks show, the Mark Twain was docked. It was an opportunity too good to pass up.

I was also able to catch the Pyro Mickey twice - once in the air, once in the water: (This shot is why I staked out this paticular spot)

Mickey helping Walt hang the lights on the castle:

    Much more in this gallery:

    Hope y'all enjoy!

those pictures are mazing. thank you for sharing them.

The "snow" bubbles pictures looked extreme. Do they really shoot down a blizzard of bubbles?

There is a lamp post right on the river by the Pirates entrance that has a Kodak Picture Spot plaque on it. (You can see it in the gallery) Next to that lamp post are the speakers they use for Fantasmic!, and there are two 'snow' machines on top. If you face the river, about 20' behind you is another post with 4 more 'snow' machines. When the breeze is just right, you get all 6 of them coming right down on you. That night was one of those "just right" nights. Folks were walking around with 2" of foam on their heads.

                    It was pretty great!
