ok.. Im a month late getting these on here.

These are the pictures from my trip. Since I only get to go once a year, I kinda get into everything we are doing and I forget I have a camera so the pics are in no particular order. Also, there are the times my son had the camera.. :whistling

At the least, you'll get to see my family! :ap:

Which pic? I think you are talking about the one in DCA. The one where the sky is a big backdrop? It looks like the road keeps going but when you get there it's really a large back drop. I didnt go into the theather there. I was on my way to TOT.

Off the Page is a store connected to the Disney Animation building.

Great pictures!!

The feather is from the Dumbo ride. They hand it out when in line and collect when on Dumbo, it part of the movie but I can't remember exactly how it goes.

The feather is Dumbo's magic feather. It is what makes him fly in the movie. When you ride the ride at the park, they use the feathers while you are in line. Its how they "count" you.

My 4 year old cousin was very upset when they took the feather back. We explained that by giving the feather back he could ride the ride but he was NOT happy. We took a picture of it so we could make him one when we got home. (We did, and he carries it everywhere telling people he can fly)

That's not really fair to small kids that they give it to them and take it back. Very small kids live for small stuff like that and to give it back would be like asking an adult to give back a free Corvette or something. That may sound extreme, but little kids really do get extremely attached to small stuff like that. Disneyland should let little kids keep it, or at least offer them a cheaper version of it that they can give away.

Also, the black feather didn't actually make Dumbo fly, it was an aid to help him believe in himself to fly on his own...sorry for the nitpick. :blush:

Your pictures were stunning! I especially love the pictures of Alice and Marry Poppins! I didn't know Big Thunder Ranch was still open!

EmilyStrange- I didnt know the Ranch was open ither. We found it by accident. The goats were great. Very cute and friendly. Nice little cabin to relax in too if you have smaller kids. There are crayons and color book pages in there to entertain them. And thank you for your compliment!

Athlonacon- I agree. There were alot of kids in line who were confused about giving the feather back. I think the idea about the less expensive feather would be great!
It sure would have saved us some heartache that day.
