  • CM Sign-in Blackout Dates?

Hey guys, I had a quick question for CMs -- is this weekend a blackout on sign-ins and admission for Disneyland CMs, due to the holiday weekend (Feb 16-17, 2008)?

I have some friends that are going to be in town, and they're thinking that a CM friend will be able to sign them in, but I don't know if that's possible this weekend. I don't know if it's been posted anywhere as to what the Cast Member admission/sign-in blackout dates are.

Thanks a ton! This will save some time driving down there only to find that the sign-in won't work on Sunday

February 16-17 are not blocked out. Actually, there are no blockout dates the entire month of February.

Yea, CM Blackout Dates are normally announced well in advance. So we all know them.

However, on that note, CMs will not be able to sign in people at the Downtown Disney Monorail Station this weekend. All sign-ins must go through the Main Entrance.

They had some lame announcement saying that we are blocked out from signing people in at the monorail station in dtd but could still do it at the main gate.

We could sign people in at the monorail station?? Ha, had no idea. But yeah, last I checked, blackout starts mid March. Are the CM blackouts the same days as blackouts for friends & families? And where are the T.E.A.M. Centers? I still haven't figured that out.

EDIT: DL & DCA-blackout from mid to late march.

It's not a big entrance, and is mainly used by Hotel Guests (hence the blackout: there's only one working monorail, and it's a big holiday weekend with many people at the Hotels).

Cast IDs don't have the same blackout dates as Main Entrance Passes. In fact, they're very rarely blacked out (New Year's Eve, Movie Premieres, etc.), and are always announced in advance.

And, for the record, there are 3 TEAM Centres. The Parkside TEAM Center is over by Cast Costuming, if you make a left from Harbor Pointe and go past Cast Scheduling, there's another one over at TDA, next to the Casting Centre, and the Offsite one is located inside Company D over near the intersection of State College and Cerittos.
