  • Popcorn bucket question

I have a popcorn bucket that I received from a previous birthday party at DLR. Can I use it to get popcorn refills during an upcoming trip to DLR? Will the CMs allow this?

    Re: Popcorn bucket question

I don't believe the purchase of a popcorn bucket entitles the bearer to a lifetime of free popcorn at DL.

Even if you save the cup at 7-11, your "Big Gulp" refills come at a cost. Disney is not one to discount, especially on food.

If you mean free refills, most likely not. But they might be able to reuse your bucket for however much popcorn costs.

I bring an old bucket in when I am planning to get more and then just buy the smaller size cardboard one and pour it in the sealable bucket.

I might have to do this. Where do you get the buckets at? I'm so clumsy, I always seem to spill popcorn out of the bag while in line. Oh yeah, and I'm 20, I should be too old to be spilling my popcorn.

It takes two regular popcorn to refill a popcorn bucket. They will give the popcorn to you in a fresh cardboard container. You have to put the popcorn into the bucket on your own.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

That is a good idea. I certainly don't mean getting "free" popcorn. I want to purchase popcorn in the bucket. The cardboard containers don't hold up very well when you have 4 kids trying to eat out of the container at the same time.

I've never heard of getting free refills on popcorn. Is this true?

I used to buy them at the park they are the larger 'souvenier size' because they come with lids and I am a spiller too. But then I started realizing I had way too many buckets so now I just an old one with me and pour the cardboard one into it. For health code reasons they can't refill your bucket but usually when they see me doing this they will fill the cardboard one very full as they know I am just going to change it out.

P.S. I want free Dole Whip refills.

How about free refills from the cove bar?

And I never thought about keeping my souvenier popcorn bucket. Now maybe I will!

No refills. Unless you lie and say you spilled it.

You know if you go to that other BIG Disney resort in the US, (I don't want to get in trouble for mentioning it in the "Disneyland" column) and you purchase a refillable plastic souvenir drink cup, you can refill it over and over during your entire stay. However, this works only at the hotels. Still, it's free refills!

I'd like Cinnamon twist refills from the bakery.
